Sarah

Sarah is a life-long lover of all things movement. She grew up dancing and graduated from SCPA as a ballerina, where she learned that strength and artistry aren’t opposites. They belong together. That foundation still shapes the way she teaches today. Precise, intentional, and just a little bit spicy.

Sarah’s journey with The Breathing Room started behind the scenes as the studio’s social media manager, but it didn’t take long before she found herself wanting to be holding classes of her own. She says, “Teaching here feels like home, and I don’t take that lightly.”

In her classes, you can expect smart sequencing, attention to detail, and a playlist that makes you forget how hard you’re working until you wake up the next morning. Sarah believes in challenging your body because that’s how we grow, but she does it in a way that feels safe, mindful, and empowering.

“You’ll leave sweaty.
You’ll leave sore.
And if I’ve done my job right, you’ll already be craving your next class before you walk out of the studio.”

When she’s not teaching, Sarah is probably grabbing a post-class coffee at Viva, baking something sweet, or lost in a fantasy novel. “My husband, Matthew, and I run a small pottery business together called Buddy Buddy Ceramics, so there’s a good chance I’m either building glutes or building mugs.”
